IT M&A Integrations/Corporate IT

What will you do?

Working closely with corporate business development and the Integration Management Office (IMO), the IT Mergers and Acquisitions team performs technology assessments (Due Diligence) for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. The team also establish IT process governance, develop strategies, and manage programs related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures for Global IT.

As the IT Director of IT M&A, we collaborate with IT functional and business leaders to leverage Practical Process Improvement (PPI) in order to continuously improve to ensure strong processes for system integrations.

The key responsibility of this role is to ensure the successful delivery of IT integrations across various business groups within Thermo Fisher. This will involve managing the overall portfolio by applying Thermo Fisher standard methodologies and our project management framework.

How you will make an impact:

You will lead the M&A team and technical teams for high-profile M&A programs in the M&A IT team.

Work closely with internal IT and business teams to deliver successful integration activities for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. This includes infrastructure, employee experience, architecture, and business applications. Collaborate with other IT functions for efficient and effective project execution.

What you will do:

  • Lead large and sophisticated strategic M&A programs for the ETO team by following Project Management framework and crafting detailed integration plans.

  • Participate in due diligence activities and work closely with the corporate development team and also focus on opportunities to improve the efficiency of the process

  • Drive PMO management activities and tasks related to strategic roadmap projects and programs

  • Develop and proactively lead team strategy, to include functional capabilities, tools/applications, staffing, etc.

  • Champion and develop positive working relationships with customers, system users and company personnel

Experience

10+ years of experience leading large IT projects, relevant technical knowledge with infrastructure systems, MS 365, Business Applications, ERP, etc., and 5+ years of IT people management.

  • Address conflicts that may arise, good interpersonal and customer service skills, and excellent documentation practices.

  • Willing to travel up to 40%

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $176,000.00–$264,050.00.
