Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Procurement Specialist role based in Walnut Creek, California. This role plays a significant part in our team, focusing on managing procurement tasks, ensuring efficient buying processes, and maintaining excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement requests and purchase requisitions to ensure the organization's operational needs are met.

• Maintain and control budget processes associated with procurement activities.

• Utilize ERP Systems such as Coupa and CRM for efficient procurement processes.

• Provide excellent customer service, resolving inquiries related to procurement and invoices.

• Monitor and adhere to government procurement policies and regulations.

• Ensure accurate record-keeping of procurement activities and transactions.

• Engage in continuous improvement of procurement processes within the organization. Requirements • Proficiency in budget processes, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial planning and allocation.

• Experience with buying processes, showcasing an ability to effectively negotiate and manage orders.

• Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on maintaining positive relationships and resolving issues efficiently.

• Familiarity with invoice management, showing an ability to accurately track and record transactions.

• Knowledge of government procurement regulations, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines.

• Understanding of procurement policies, demonstrating the ability to implement and adhere to company-specific procedures.

• Expertise in procurement processes, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of sourcing, selection, and contract management.

• Experience with procurement requests, demonstrating an ability to accurately review and process orders.

• Proficiency in handling purchase requisitions, showcasing an ability to manage requests in a timely and efficient manner.
