Manager II Sales Support
Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate must live within 50 miles of our Elevance Health PulsePoint location listed on the requisition.
Responsible for managing the activities within a sales support unit.
How you will make an impact:
Develops processes for consistency.
Manages sales support activities which may include one or more of the following functions: broker call center, sales support staff, field service, sales training and technology, broker administration, proposals, product development, or material distribution.
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences :
Experience managing direct reports most notably in the sales healthcare industry strongly preferred.
Proven health insurance plans account management and client retention experience is highly preferred.
Excellent managerial and leadership skills and knowledge of local market.
Exceptional strategic thinking, decision-making, problem-solving skills, and adaptability highly preferred.
Proven ability in collaborating with leaders and cross-functional teams to coordinate efforts towards common goals strongly preferred.
Experience interacting confidently with senior management and executive level stakeholders, as a subject matter expert and comfortable with influencing decision-making.
Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties.
Experience and knowledge of Salesforce and WGS operating systems strongly preferred.
Proficient of Microsoft Office products, most notably in Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and Word strongly preferred.
