What youll do
As a Product Manager (f/m/d) - (Job title: Senior Product Specialist) - you will be responsible for end-to-end quality management scenarios and functionality covering both Discrete and Process Industries. You will be responsible for market research, competitor analysis, customer requirements management, and shaping of the short, mid-term and long-term strategy, definition of new requirements, and identification of whitespaces for partners. And be the spokes person in front of customers and partners concerning QM.
As quality management is tightly integrated in SAPs business applications for purchasing, manufacturing, sales, and service processes you will be able to collaborate with many teams within the SAP organization and beyond. In addition, you will be responsible for evangelizing quality management across multiple internal and external channels as well as gathering customer feedback, assisting proof of concept engagements, and delivering market knowledge back into the engineering teams. You will also directly support our leading customers not only on their journeys to S/4HANA but also help them to integrate with our BTP apps like QIR and feed their requirements back into the development organization.
What you bring
Bachelor or masters degree in Business Administration or other related fields
Exposure to discrete and process industries customers and business processes
Subject matter expertise with deep knowledge in the quality management application and adjacent areas like manufacturing and warehousing
Successful execution of projects with customer exposure
Practical experience in product management or consulting and good knowledge of software development and requirements management, cloud software experience is a plus
Strong communication and networking skills, fluent in English and ideally in German
Work Experience: 5-10 years of professional experience in discrete industries, project teams and proven track record in product management, consulting, solution management

The Product Management in the Private Cloud ERP is responsible for the inbound and outbound product management of the Quality Management portfolio. Our current priority is to accelerate the development and market adoption of the S/4 HANA Private Cloud products.
We do always have a strong focus on end-to-end scenarios in which our applications are embedded. In addition, we are passionate about enhancing our industry portfolio to support the latest trends and adopt the newest technologies.
