In your role as (Junior) Developer (f/m/d) you will be a vital contributor to the full development cycle by discovering requirements together with our customers and partners in industry, identifying the appropriate architecture, designing, implementing and testing the SCM Optimization services as well as maintaining it.

You have the opportunity to:

  • Work on our cloud native GitOps continuous deployment process

  • Operate and expand our SAP gardener managed kubernetes clusters in multiple regions on different hyperscalers

  • Support our GO microservice developers

  • Provide and configure necessary services, such as Istio, Redis, Postgres and Blob storages

What you bring

  • Preferred field(s) of study: University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or comparable qualifications

  • Knowledge in modern cloud architecture as well as software design patterns

  • Strong development know-how of cloud delivery

  • Strong Golang programming skills, including concepts such as concurrency with goroutines and channels, API development

  • Technology driven focus ability to maintain a system from a container level to the top of the software stack

  • Experience with relational databases, ideally Postgres

  • Experience with Hyperscaler services, e.g. for compute and storage

  • Experience in containers and Kubernetes, Kubernetes Cluster architecture, building, deploying and operating cloud apps on Kubernetes. SAP Gardener and ISTIO knowledge is an advantage.

  • Demonstrate result-driven attitude, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good teamwork and communication skills

  • Ability to work in and across teams, countries and cultures

  • Fluent in verbal and written English and German

The planning procedures are characterized by high scalability concerning the volume to be planned (procedure efficiency), broad functionality and seamless integrations into SAP applications. The solution will natively exploit SAPs state-of-the-art capabilities in SAP Cloud Platform deployed on Kubernetes.
