What you`ll do
We are looking for a talented ABAP (Junior) Developer (f/m/d) to strengthen our Walldorf-based Software Logistics team.
As a member of the team, you will support the development of easy-to-use applications and tools improving the software lifecycle of ABAP-based add-on products in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud environment.
This will help partners and customers to adapt their add-ons to seamlessly integrate into the SAP S/4HANA Cloud (both private and public cloud). With this, we will strengthen our partner ecosystem and the overall perception of our main products.
As an ABAP (Junior) Developer (f/m/d) for Software Maintenance and Delivery Tools, you will be part of a great development team inside Cloud & Lifecycle Management.
You will contribute to the full software lifecycle: Specification, design and implementation, test and operation of our developments.
You will discuss and align requirements with our product stakeholders / customers and optimize our existing solutions to increase user experience, supportability, robustness and simplicity.
All this using modern, agile software development practices like pair-programming and test-driven development in a beginner friendly, supportive, multi-national and diverse scrum team.
What you bring
University degree (Bachelor or Master) in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics or other related fields
Programming experience in ABAP and preferably one other programming language
Proven expertise in object-oriented software development and agile methodology
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both German and English
Willingness to learn and understand complex systems
It would be great if you already have some knowledge about cloud development and support processes or experience with software change processes.
