Robert Half Sr. HR Specialist - Projects in Wall, New Jersey

Description

We are in search of a Sr. HR Specialist who will spearhead multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in HR and strong excel skills to join this team. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. The role involves overseeing HR projects, including compensation projects, and reviewing and reworking employee handbooks.

Responsibilities:

• Lead HR projects to completion, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

• Utilize strong excel skills to manage and organize project data and metrics.

• Oversee compensation projects, using extensive knowledge of compensation structures and strategies.

• Review and rework employee handbooks, ensuring all policies and procedures align with company standards and legal requirements.

• Develop a skills matrix for different levels of employees, identifying key skills and competencies required for each role.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth execution of projects and tasks.

• Use benchmarking skills to measure project performance against standards and make necessary adjustments.

• Ensure all HR projects and initiatives comply with organizational development strategies and goals.

• Utilize succession planning skills to identify and develop future company leaders.

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring they align with company objectives and legal requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sr. HR Specialist with strong project management skills

• Proficiency in Benchmarking processes and techniques

• Knowledge of HR Compliance in accordance with industry standards

• Demonstrated experience in Organizational Development

• Familiarity with drafting and implementing Policies & Procedures

• Proven track record in Succession Planning

• Experience in managing Compensation in a corporate setting

• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
