Commercial and Personal Lines Client Advisor (Sales Producer)

Position Overview
- This position is responsible for growing our Commercial and Personal Lines Insurance business (with a focus on Commercial) throughout the region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Identify, cultivate, solicit and close new business for the company focusing on offering risk management solutions to commercial clients
Generate and continuously cultivate an ongoing list of prospects
Utilize cold calls, prospecting emails, mail, professional associations, and networking to build a relationship with clients and prospects
Identify opportunities for the cross-selling of other lines of insurance as well as other solutions offered by World (such as Human Capital, Payroll and Employee Benefits, etc.)
Assess all forms of risk exposure, make recommendations, and create custom programs to eliminate gaps in coverage
Identify opportunities to round out accounts for existing clients
Maintain client relationships and drive retention of accounts through the renewal workflow / process
Qualifications
Previous sales experience, experience working in an insurance brokerage or carrier a plus but not required
Self-motivated, driven, personable and highly motivated to achieve success
Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Excellent time management, organization and follow-up skills - Maintain a sense of urgency and ability to work with and meet deadlines
Consultative, positive and resourceful approach to dealing with prospects, clients and associates
Excellent listening skills with strong customer focus - including the ability actively listen, and problem solve with minimal assistance
Applied Epic or similar agency management software experience is a plus
HubSpot and related sales tools a definite plus
Able to work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members
Ability to contribute to a collaborative environment by consistently demonstrating teamwork, high motivation, positive behavior and effort to achieve goals and objectives
Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy
The ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude
