Job Summary
Primary sales and account management representative, responsible for revenue growth, sales volume, customer retention and satisfaction. Focuses on retaining and expanding business primarily with existing accounts. Promotes the expansion of gas and electric technologies at large commercial and industrial (C&I) customer facilities through the application of substantial technical, engineering and regulatory knowledge. Requires a high degree of customer interaction, working directly with current and prospective client plant managers, engineers, facility, procurement, energy and financial management and executives. Evaluates customer operations and processes, including identifying opportunities for the application and expansion of the company's products and services. Develops and presents product and economic analyses and secures resources necessary in attaining revenue and product line expansion objectives. Key Accountabilities
*Establishes and maintains business relationships with the company's largest commercial and industrial key customers; develops relationships with customers' key decision makers using face-to-face meetings pre-specified by the account opportunities and value *Supports sales and marketing processes (market assessment and strategy, sales, and fulfillment) *Understands and documents customers utilization of energy, competing energy sources, and overall energy profile; determines long-term forecasts and plans related to the customers energy needs. *Forecasts sales and revenue levels for an assigned book of customers; fulfills individual and department sales and revenue targets. *Analyzes customer's business, operation, energy related applications, and identifies growth opportunities via plant walk- through, energy audits, and equipment surveys *Diagrams and profiles customer's gas metering, energy flow, utilization, and energy consuming equipment, matches and prioritizes rate and technology opportunities. *Promotes and coordinates the business relationships between customers, vendors, manufacturers, and consultants throughout the sales process. *Proactively establish and maintain relationships with internal company organizations and external trade allies that directly or indirectly impact and or influence the promotion of gas technologies at commercial and industrial customer facilities. *Serves as the assigned customers' main point of contact for the customers gas service and energy consul
