Insight Global Controls Engineer in Wakefield, Massachusetts
Job Description
Day to Day:
Insight Global is seeking a controls engineer to join a team for a company that is a worldwide leader in robotics and electric motor technology. Under the supervision of the Manager of R&D this individual will be responsible to develop advanced control systems for robotic manipulators and similar electromechanical systems, including motion control and servo tuning, development of dynamic models, modeling and simulations in Matlab, and implantation of software on real-time platforms. The responsibilities also include controls-related machine design analysis and selection of actuators, sensors, and other controls-related components.

Skills and Requirements
Must Haves:
-0-3 years of experience as a Controls Engineer
-Hands on experience with control systems through professional experience or internship experience
-Bachelors Degree Plusses:
-Proficiency in MatLab
-Proficiency in orCAD, PADS, or similar design tools
-Lab skills, soldering of components, rework of PCBAs
-Any experience in electronic circuit design null
