Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Wakefield, Massachusetts. This role entails handling key accounting functions, maintaining records, and processing payments. You will be utilizing various software systems, including Microsoft Excel, to perform your tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Handle the entire process of Accounts Payable (AP) including 3 Way Matching
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Excel for data entry and other accounting functions
• Carry out check processing and check runs in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain and update all accounting records, ensuring accuracy and validity
• Address inquiries related to accounts payable and resolve any discrepancies
• Collaborate with the team to improve and streamline the payment process
• Implement and adhere to company policies and regulations
• Regularly review accounts to identify any outstanding payments and take necessary action
• Maintain confidentiality and secure financial information by completing database backups
• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with a range of Accounting Functions
• Detailed understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
• Expertise in Check Processing and Check Runs
• Strong Data Entry skills\
