Purpose of Job This position is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of Athletic Training clients accessing the Rehab Specialties department for Glencoe-Silver Lake High School. Job Functions Performs evaluations, documents care, and discharges client cases according to RMC and professional standards. Provides current and quality treatment, utilize Ridgeview and professional resources to promote continued quality care. Communicates with patient, health care providers, insurer and others to ensure that patient needs are addressed. Exhibits working knowledge of hours of operation, customer base, department operations, visit procedures (i.e. school visits), and chart audit procedures. Understands and uses reimbursement and regulatory guidelines for care and environment. Understands and uses patient and clinic operations following Rehab Specialties policy and guidelines. Provides professional and courteous customer service to internal and external customers. Performs other duties as assigned.
