Robert Half Sales & Use Tax Accountant in Vista, California
Description Management Resources is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Nexus Sales Tax Analysts for a 1-2 month project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with nexus sales tax rules and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and analyze sales tax nexus rules and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Evaluate the impact of business activities on sales tax nexus thresholds.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary data and documentation for nexus determination.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our company's sales tax obligations.
• Implement systems and processes to monitor and track nexus requirements and thresholds.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in sales tax laws and regulations affecting nexus taxation.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of sales tax nexus registrations and returns.
• Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders regarding sales tax nexus issues.
• Participate in audits and respond to inquiries related to sales tax nexus.
Education and Certification:
• Bachelor's degree in Tax, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
• EA certification
