Job Title: Expediter

Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for coordinating product and order flow across all three buildings, ensuring smooth operations and timely processing of orders. This role involves significant interaction with manufacturing supervisors and requires effective communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Attend morning meetings with the team to determine priority orders and urgent tasks.

  • 75% of the day on the shop floor tracking orders and parts.

  • 25% of the day will be updating excel doc and ERP system of where each order is in the manufacturing process.

  • Update Excel documents and ERP systems to reflect the status of each order in the manufacturing process.

  • Ensure orders and products are moving smoothly through the shop floor.

  • Coordinate with manufacturing supervisors regarding delays and the movement of products.

  • Schedule orders based on product status and movement within the manufacturing floor.

Essential Skills

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience with ERP systems.

  • Experience in scheduling and planning orders or shipments.

Work Environment

The work environment consists of spending 75% of the day on the shop floor, which can be hot and very loud due to running equipment. The remaining 25% of the time will be spent at a desk working on the ERP system and computer.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vista, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00
