The Building People Testing Software Quality Engineer in United States

The Building People are seeking a qualified Testing Software Quality Engineer to:

  • Apply best practices in regard to testing methodologies, test planning, execution, and defect management.

  • Plan, execute, and oversee product inspection and testing for quality and conformance to specifications and deliverables.

  • Develop application test plans.

  • Lead testing efforts to ensure compliance to all requirements.

  • Investigate reports of product quality issues and ensure resolution in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.

  • Develop or update procedures for capture, investigation, and documentation of product complaints.

  • Provide training and support to quality assurance team members that covers systems,

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Testing/Software Quality Engineer or a similar testing role in large-scale enterprise software implementation projects.

  • Strong expertise in testing methodologies, including functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing.

  • Familiarity with testing cloud-based applications and environments.

  • Ability to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

  • Experience in defect management and tracking, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Preferred: Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) experience, such as Archibus, TRIRIGA, Nuvolo, ServiceNow WSD, Maximo, and/or FMSystems.

Education:

  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.

  • Organized with the ability to multitask.

  • High attention to detail.

  • US Citizenship.

  • Ability to meet Federal & DoD Gov’t security background checks, HSPD-12, Fingerprinting, plus agency-specific screening.

  • 2+ years successfully working from home or remote location, with minimal supervision.

  • Operate within a NIST 800-171 compliant security environment internally and able to support all client-required cyber security data and operational processes. Value and protect company, colleague, and customer data.

  • Operate within a home office environment that provides adequate workspace and high-speed internet connectivity.
