Candidates will work under the direction of the project's Technical Lead and Application Architect to write, test, and document code to implement system features and enhancements. Description: This requisition's current PO is funded through 6/30/24, but will be extended. Contract end date is dependent on the final schedule and projected needs. Historically additional funding should then last a year and occur from 7/1/24-6/30/25. Do not resubmit candidates from previous similarly released req # 730549. The eTransit Reporting system is a greenfield web application being built for PennDOT's Bureau of Public Transit to replace and enhance a legacy system using the latest .NET and Angular technologies for deployment to the Azure cloud. The application will allow easier communication between PennDOT, the Federal Department of Transit, and public transit agencies within Pennsylvania while enhancing lines of business and looking forward to future changes and systems enhancements. Prospective initial deployment of the application is March 2025. Skills: Required: 8+ Years · .NET Core and C#, for building backend services and applications. · ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC or ASP.NET Core for building web applications. · SQL Server / T-SQL, recent experience with Azure SQL. · APIs and Integration, RESTful APIs, microservices and event-driven architecture. · Testing frameworks · XUnit/NUnit · Prefer: Jasmine and Karma · ORM, such as Entity framework and Dapper · Containerization · Prefer: Docker · Cloud services with implementation in .NET · Azure Function · Azure Queue · Azure Storage · Azure container registry · Key Vault · Front-End · HTML, CSS, JavaScript § Prefer: prior experience with jQuery and Bootstrap · Angular with recent experience with Angular 14 or greater · Tools · Visual Studio with recent experience in VS2022 and VS Code · Azure DevOps /Git Required: Knowledge and Experience

Knowledge of digital accessibility and disability inclusion
Knowledge of regulations related to digital accessibility (e.g., Section 508, ADA)

Experience designing for platform technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, iOS, Android)
Experience applying WAI-ARIA authoring guidelines and best practices
Experience optimizing for the accessibility features of the platform (HTML, iOS, Android)
Experience developing digital products that comply with accessibility standards

2+ Years' Experience with the following:

Experience incorporating accessibility tests into the development process.
Experience building digital products where compliance with accessibility standards is part of "definition of done.”
