Tessent Memory Technology R&D Intern
As an intern in the Tessent Memory Test team, you will contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the Tessent MemoryBIST product.
This team is part of the Tessent division, a market and technology leader of electronic design automation (EDA) software products and on-chip instrumentation for semiconductor design-for-test (DFT), yield analysis, silicon validation, and silicon lifecycle management (SLM).
The Tessent MemoryBIST product employs scalable methods to organize, to automate and to perform the self-testing, diagnosis and repairing of on-chip memories. You will work side-by-side with senior software & hardware developers and technology experts, at the intersection between electrical engineering and computer science. We seek a student that has a good understanding of memory technology to work with us on creating solutions to leading-edge technology problems, as well as good software engineering skills to realize such innovations in software.
In addition to building your knowledge of DFT and memory built-in self-test (MBIST), you will get hands-on experience with Tessent software tools and will develop automation that will streamline the qualification of the automation software & on-chip MBIST circuit.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experiences:
Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
Understanding of memory architectures or digital logic design
Proficient with a hardware description language like Verilog or SystemVerilog
Experience with digital logic simulator
Solid knowledge of a scripting language like Tcl (preferred) or Python
Proficient in a Linux environment
Familiarity with DFT methods like scan test or built-in self-test (BIST) is a plus
Self-motivated and able to work constructively and productively on a team, as well as independently
Excellent verbal and written English language communication skills
