Ferguson is currently seeking a Storm Water Compliance Inspector to join our team!

This position will be traveling locally in the Austin, TX area.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily inspections of residential, private, and commercial construction sites to ensure that projects maintain compliance with local, state, and federal storm water regulations.

  • Prepare, send, and track inspection reports based on inspection findings.

  • Maintain efficient and responsible time management skills based on daily inspection scheduling.

  • Must be willing to commute to constructions sites, meetings, etc. on a daily basis.

  • Must be able to occasionally work in adverse conditions including walking on construction sites in diverse conditions such as uneven terrain, dusty conditions, heat, cold, and wet weather.

  • Must be personable and able to professionally communicate and interact with project associates such as superintendents, project managers, regulatory officials, developers, engineers, etc.

  • Willing to work in both outside and office environments with efficient and responsible time management skills.

  • Maintain inspection schedules; organize and maintain schedules to maximize efficient time management and commute to job sites.

  • Update Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans to reflect progression of construction.

Qualifications

  • Requires computer skills including Microsoft Word, PDF, Excel, and email.

  • The ability to read and decipher basic civil construction plans/drawings and reports is preferred.

  • Must be at least 18 years old.

  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

  • Storm water, erosion control, construction inspection, or related certifications or experience is desired but not required.

Pay Range:

Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

$15.00 - $31.74

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
