FUNCTIONAL EXPERTISE

• Strong understanding of strategic sourcing process

• Review spend data and identify opportunities sourcing as requested by customer

• Perform market research on supplier capabilities, category trends & price benchmarking and present insights to stakeholders

• Possess knowledge and experience across Indirect and Direct categories. Expertise in a particular category will be preferred

• Support stakeholders in developing sourcing pipeline

• Develop category strategies under guidance of category manager

• Prepare sourcing project specific plans on MS-Excel, MS-Projects or other similar tools

• Co-ordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements for sourcing execution

• Independently perform sourcing activities like requirement gathering, setting up RFP & Auctions in various procurement tools, co-ordination with suppliers, supplier proposal comparative statements

• Guide stakeholders on auction strategies if required

• Negotiate with suppliers for low value purchases

• Meet various performance targets agreed with customers like savings, on-time execution, accuracy, etc

• Perform contract drafting activities based on templates

• Perform SRM activities like supplier financial ratings, supplier profiling, evaluations, SWOT analysis, segmentation, etc

• Create reports & dashboards for procurement leadership
