About This Role:As an advisor, you will bring Gartner's research, best practices, and tools to life across a broad range of world class clients. It's the job of an advisor to increase client engagement and ensure each client is applying Gartner's resources to their work. An advisor will ask insightful questions to diagnose the causes of client challenges and recommend the best course of action. The advisor might also suggest a different approach or talk the client through a best practice from a different industry that could work within their business context.The Senior Principal Advisor interfaces primarily with senior Human Resources executives to foster deep, broad relationships. Advisors are expected to be expert in their assigned HR specialty areas (2-3), leveraging multiple streams of insight to guide clients to action-orientated solutions that deliver against key business challenges . An advisor senses patterns among client needs to guide the research agenda and event calendar. As an advisor, you will also support revenue partners in commercial engagements.What you’ll do
Engage senior-level executives by building relationships, establishing credibility, conducting substantive content discussions, diagnosing needs, solving problems, providing direction for client action , and identifying relevant resources
Deliver must-have research through 1:1 interaction, workshops, small group forums, and large stage presentations ( both virtual and live )
In addition to applying and packaging Gartner resources to meet client challenges, an advisor senses patterns among the client needs to shape the direction of ongoing research and product creation
Work collaboratively in Communities of Practice to continuously stay up to date with new trends, both external and in Gartner research, that drive excellence in client delivery
Partner with sales and service Delivery partners to increase account growth, retention, and engagement
What you’ll need
6 to 9 years of experience in related field or industry
Subject matter expertise in Recruitment and any additional experience in Organizational Design and HR Strategy is highly desirable
Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%
Flexibility to periodically work with clients and colleagues outside of regional time zone
