Responsibilities:
Enjoy the perks of working remotely with 10-25% project travel! Hybrid and in-office options are also available depending on location.
As a subject matter expert, you will draft and design electric power generation and distribution projects. You will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced solutions for power plants, focusing on instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems. Your role also includes assisting in the preparation of engineering project proposals, covering technical definitions, schedule estimation, and resource planning. You will use design tools like AutoCAD or MicroStation and work closely with various internal and external personnel to ensure project success through best practices such as Design Reviews, Program Reviews, and Project Closeout Meetings. Additionally, you will lead design teams, plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate the design and technical aspects of projects. Active participation in client and contractor meetings and resolving client, engineering, and management project issues will also be part of your responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:
10-20+ years of experience within the electrical utility industry.
Expert knowledge in control systems, medium to low voltage electric systems, and/or protection controls (protection relays).
Expert knowledge in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
Ability to travel 10-25% locally and domestically.
