ManpowerGroup Senior Tax Accountant in United States

Jefferson Wells is looking to connect with senior tax accountants who are interested in project opportunities. You will do tax work in the following practice areas: individual, corporation, partnership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals and corporations.

  • Analyze financial statements and records to ensure accurate tax reporting.

  • Conduct tax research to stay updated on current tax laws and regulations.

  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax forecasts and projections.

  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities as needed.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in tax compliance and reporting.

  • Assist in tax audits and responding to inquiries from tax authorities.

  • Stay informed about changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.

  • Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under deadlines.

Hourly pay rate based on level of experience:

$45- 85 hr
