Our Product Strategy & Operations team partners with our Cloud Technology Group (CTG) to meet customer needs. We collaborate to make smart, informed data-driven decisions. Partner with the best
You will serve as a trusted advisor to Product Management, responsible for operationalizing product strategy in CTG. You will drive operational excellence for product and product related initiatives through business analysis, aligning with customer needs, and driving superlative process improvements for the business. Cross-functional collaboration is crucial to this role as you will work closely with stakeholders across the business.
As a Senior Strategy & Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for:
Serving as a trusted advisor and business partner to CTG Product Teams
Empowering strategic decision making by utilizing business analysis to inform recommendations, and work with cross-functional teams
Leading operational reporting, analytics, business insights and optimizing processes to support decision making at scale
Collaborating with Product Managers to manage to key performance indicators
Understanding factors and areas of opportunity to drive the business towards better and proactive decision making
Contributing to the future direction within CTG through the development of business cases and ROI analysis
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree
Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a Corporate Strategy or Product related role
Possess an understanding of cloud, data center concepts and content delivery (CDN)
Have advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets and experience with SQL query syntax
Have experience presenting to and working with teams and leadership at all levels of an organization
Have experience with data visualization and analysis tools, operating systems with limited supervision, and building rudimentary dashboards
Be a problem solver, quickly identify issues, and propose solutions that drive business value

Compensation
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $101,400 - $210,600/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
