ICONMA, LLC Senior Software Engineer (C++ Specialist) in United States
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining real-time embedded software applications. You will work on software products related to image processing, target detection and tracking, missile guidance/navigation/control algorithms, missile launchers, system control, built-in test, and system communication. Your primary development environment will be C++ hosted on Linux-based systems or real-time operating systems like VxWorks or Integrity. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain real-time embedded software applications.
Work throughout the entire software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, code implementation, integration, and testing.
Lead technical tasks and serve as a subject matter expert in relevant areas.
Utilize source code control and issue tracking tools.
Perform unit testing and static analysis using modern test tools.
Configure and manage a continuous test environment.
Required Experience:
Active Secret Clearance
11 + years in C++ (version 11 or higher) with a proven track record of building applications from the ground up.
Deep understanding of Object-Oriented principles, data structures, algorithms, and Operating System concepts.
Experience in real-time embedded software development.
Technical leadership experience or subject matter expertise in relevant areas.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with standard communication busses and protocols (RS-232, RS-422, MIL-STD-1553, Ethernet).
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of Cyber Security principles.
Experience with Department of Defense products.
Board support package and device driver development.
