Overview

The focus of the C&B lead is to be the thought leader on C&B vertical for the Talent team and Publicis Groupe at large. The C&B lead will enable the Groupe to attract, retain, develop and leverage talent by ensuring that our talent base is rewarded in a motivating, competitive manner. By sharing leading total reward concepts and best practices, it is the responsibility of the C&B lead to provide guidance that ensures that individuals are compensated appropriately while the Groupe financial commitments are met. They will participate in aspects of planning, managing and delivery of Compensation & Benefits plans for the Groupe. They should be able to play a role of a strategic partner and administrative & employee champion in this function to be able to contribute to the success of the operations and control. This will include identifying, evaluating, advising and implementing initiatives. Contributes and partners in design, development, review and management of the Benefits strategy to achieve external competitiveness as well as to proactively maintain benefits cost for the organization. Directs and manages the assessment of best practices and creation of benefits strategies and solutions based on business requirements and in collaboration with HR business partners and representatives from the business. Monitors internal compliance with reporting, data protection and privacy issues and manages activities in relation to the review of existing and proposed statutory requirements governing the existing total reward frameworks, policies and procedures and recommends appropriate courses of action. Works in close collaboration with Talent verticals, mainly HRBP operational excellence, and Resources (HR shared service center on operational excellence) on benefits processes, practices and procedures. Works in close collaboration with the Groupe CFO/Finance team to budget for the benefit expenses (commit), gets better benefits at optimal costs, shares month on month benefits utilization and spend analysis with Finance leads, Talent Vertical leads and markets’ HR Business Partners. Updates the leadership team on the market trend and develops programs to support the business unit objectives, which include evaluating, establishing and aligning internal benefit processes and policies. Develops management systems and monitoring mechanism to govern the compliance and effective implementation of the Benefits programs, systems and processes within business units and to provide guidance. Contributes and participates in the global or local activities to design and develop HR information system for HR database to ensure an efficient system. Main Tasks: Strategic & Impact responsibilities & Tasks: Ownership of Publicis Groupe compensation philosophy & principles fostering a total reward approach. Lead and take ownership on Publicis Groupe Middle East & Turkey compensation reviews for the Groupe across its 3 cycles per year. Lead and take ownership on Publicis Groupe Middle East & Turkey bonus reviews for the Groupe Q1 of every year. Ownership and collaboration on linking reward to performance in form of recommendations, reviewing proposals and challenging. Developing and creating new C&B framework tools supporting the business leaders in their C&B feedback and recommendation. Develop and administer salary programs to ensure equitable and competitive salaries for all people. Programs may include base pay administration, payroll, incentive plans, salary range structures, bonus/award plans, and executive compensation. Conduct market research and analysis of total compensation for Publics Groupe ME and Turkey. Works with Head of Talent Transformation and CTO to analyze market data and make recommendations aligned to the business need. Monitor the competitive marketplace to ensure awareness of our competitive pay levels, best practices, trends, and new developments. Analyze such data and make recommendations to Groupe leadership as appropriate. Establish and maintain salary ranges by performing annual benchmarking. Manage merit and promotion raise process. Manage bonus programs (Global bonus, Local Bonus Plan, LTIP, Spot Bonus, etc.) Create and steward salary plan tool to be used by Talent verticals in compensation management. Manage HR Systems data integrity, transaction processing, and payroll handoff. Manage Talent practice budget. Participate in salary & benefit surveys. Implement benefits plans and programs. Stay abreast of existing and proposed statutory requirements governing compensation and benefits administration, market practices on compensation & benefits activities and recommending appropriate course of action. Communicate plans and programs Publicis Groupe Talents and key stakeholders & provide information to make informed individual and business decisions, relating to compensation and benefit matters. Coach & lead team members on specific areas of domain expertise. Your Skills & Experience: Detailed knowledge of market practice reward & benefits strategy, design, administration and delivery. Knowledge & understanding of corporate HR policies & procedures. Pay benchmarking strategies and techniques. Benefits design, administration and delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is a must and a master’s degree is a plus. At least 7-10 years of experience in C&B and HR benefits processes. Meaningful experience in ME compensation planning and design, administration, compliance and communication. A strong record of accomplishment of meeting or beating revenue goals and set KPIs. A strong network of senior level industry professional and experts. Demonstrated success at building industry leading intellectual capital, processes, and ideas. Thorough understanding of all aspects of selling, designing, performing, and delivering large complex projects. Strong leadership abilities and the ability to teach and mentor direct reports. Project management skills with ability to co-ordinate multiple projects of different scales simultaneously. Self-starter and self-motivated with ability to work independently. Ability to communicate across all levels of clients (from executive to C-level) and all levels of the agency/client. Deep level of understanding of the functioning of the diversified services units and know when to tap on them. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Exceptional problem-solving skills and constant positivity upholder. Proven ability to build close client and inter-agency relationships. Strategic thinker – able to challenge the client’s brief to provide the right solution. Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines. Strong understanding of technology and media to be able to operationalize the business. Understanding of content within the user journey and how personalization and automation enables and powers that process. Understands media and data analytics and its impact on the business. Ability to transform data into meaningful insights and business KPIs and vice versa.
