Paychex Sales Competitive Intelligence Analyst III in United States

Overview

To provide the sales organization with actionable competitive intelligence to drive revenue growth and improve performance against competitors. Role works cross functionally with Corporate Strategy, Marketing, Sales, Sales Engineering and Revenue Operations as well as independently to perform researching, gather findings and deliver insights.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Support Revenue Operations projects and initiatives for assigned market teams.

  • Gather, organize, and analyze large amounts of data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and deliver actionable insights.

  • Stay up to date with modern competitive intelligence methodology, practices and technology and train/educate junior team members.

  • Stay up to date on current and upcoming technology to ensure that the GTM tech-stack always be an asset. Engage with vendors and other leaders to gather information or complete testing.

  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and accuracy under pressure, with the ability to transform and analyze data.

  • I dentifies and defines the objective of an assigned research project; determines the best methods to use to meet those objectives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven recommendations.

  • Collaborate with sales and corporate strategy leaders to curate, update and maintain competitor battlecards.

  • Serves as a subject matter expert who develops and mentors junior team members.

  • Delivers reports and presentations of findings to management and/or executive leadership.

  • Leads projects and initiatives with minimal direction and guidance.

  • Display initiative to strengthen skills and learn concepts to improve output and bolster the team portfolio.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree - Business, Communication, Sales, Marketing, Statistics or Analytics - Preferred

  • 2 years of experience in Business Analytics

  • 1 year of experience - Experience selling HCM products and services - Preferred

  • Excellent collaboration and team building skills

  • Demonstrates excellent judgment and decision making skills

  • Develops and delivers effective presentations - Advanced

  • Ability to inspire and persuade others - Advanced

  • Excellent organizational skills - Advanced

  • Demonstrates project management skills - Advanced

  • Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure - Advanced

  • Proficiency to learning new software or techniques without oversight - Advanced

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $77,770 - $122,210 a year . Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
