Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Location: Wilmington, NC Duration: 13 weeks Description: REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS /2 years Traveler Experience: Not required Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: Teamwork approach to patient care, Focus on patient safety Certs: ACLS and BLS PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: NIH, Neuro exp preferred, Experience/willing to learn the charge nurse role preferred JOB DETAILS: Ratios: 1:6 Shift: NIGHT 3x12-Hour (18:45 – 07:15) 36 hours 13- 26 weeks accepted!! RTO: 7 days MAX; Float Requirement: yes, travelers float first Weekend Requirement: every other weekend Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
