Position Summary:
We are looking for someone who wants to join a fast-paced growing company, is comfortable with change and has the flexibility to change priorities at a moment’s notice.
The Regional Manager is responsible for the growth and retention of ClearCaptions customers their assigned region within the United States. The Regional Manager will actively hire, train, develop and manage Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Territory Sales Manager (TSMs) located within their region. The BDMs & TSMs are responsible for generating new ClearCaptions revenues, through new customer acquisitions by establishing and participating in local events; by becoming embedded in their local retirement communities or groups; and by educating health care providers on options consumers have under the law. The BDMs are also responsible to retain their existing customers in their territories by responding to their needs through the highest level of customer service.
This is a Remote position reporting to the Chief Operating Officer .
What you will do:
Achieve assigned sales and service acquisition and retention quota objectives daily, weekly, monthly , and annually.
Maintain regional sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, and mentoring employees for success.
Manage regional sales representative’s performance by coaching, taking action to improve performance; planning, monitoring, and evaluating results.
Travel to BDMs ’ & TSMs tradeshows, local events , and large events for training opportunities and/or assisting with the events.
Actively work with direct sales team to plan the development of local Retirement Community Networks and Health Care Providers in the team’s assigned territories.
Manage the inventory of ClearCaptions products and ancillary equipment for the region.
Coach BDMs on how to evaluate the customer’s communications needs and propose the appropriate ClearCaptions solution to satisfy those needs.
Manage, administer , and report on regional results and issues.
Be an expert for the BDMs &TSMs on how to:
Understand the differences in Territories.
Establish local events.
How to increase new customer acquisitions in a territory.
Territory management to schedule customer installations.
Conducting onsite and in-depth customer training on caption telephone services.
Retention of existing customers.
Use Salesforce and ensure proper documentation is completed.
Work with Customer Support.
Take an active talent management approach to onboard, mentor and inspire a diverse, highly engaged, and skilled team . Continually upgrade talent through timely talent management, development, succession planning and recruitment.
Qualifications:
4 years of experience managing and developing a team.
1-2 years of service sales and / or sales management experience
Strong technical skills, along with an understanding of the Internet, firewalls, routers, modems, switches, and hubs. Prior installation experience is desirable .
Must be able to demonstrate a minimum four years of consistently meeting quota.
Must be able to work from a local home office equipped with high-speed Internet .
Must be able to travel extensively ( up to 50%) within assigned region. Travel will also be to corporate and events nationally.
A four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
Respectful and outstanding leadership skills that motivate colleagues to focus their energy on achieving business goals.
Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and tactical operational levels. Works to achieve goals while overcoming obstacles and/or planning for contingencies.
Strong analytical, planning and budgeting skills . Ability to influence others.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes .
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment.
D emonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality.
Willingness and ability to work flexible hours and travel (up to 50 %); will include some overnight travel.
Proficient in MS Office, modern communication tools for virtual teams (i.e., MS Teams)
Physical Demands :
Primary functions require the ability to communicate over the phone and in person effectively and clearly with individuals suffering from hearing loss. Employees will experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time:
Sitting, standing and walking (95-100%)
Keyboarding (70-90%)
Viewing computer monitor, tablet and cell phone requiring close vision (70-90%)
Occasionally bend, crouch, reach, twist and grasp; may lift or move boxes (up to 10 pounds)
Work Environment :
Work environment is primarily indoors at home, customer or vendor site, or other business meeting venue; exposure to all types of weather and temperature conditions during travel, and exposure to hazardous driving and traffic conditions. Travel (approx. 50% ), may include overnight and out of state travel .
Compensation :
$92,042 - $108,291 prospectively plus Sales Incentive Bonus with consideration to experience and geographical location . Please see www.clearcaptions.com/careers for an overview of our generous benefits program.
