Ops Tech Alliance (OTA) is currently offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and driven Recruiting Intern to join our dynamic Business Growth team. This unpaid internship provides invaluable hands-on experience across the entire recruitment spectrum, offering a chance to learn directly from seasoned industry experts. The selected candidate will play a vital role in identifying top talent for our company, gaining practical insights into human resources and talent acquisition along the way. We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented individual who is enthusiastic about gaining real-world experience in this field. While this position is currently unpaid, there is potential for it to transition into a paid role based on performance and company needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with sourcing and screening candidates through various channels (e.g., job boards, social media, networking events)

  • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates for our positions

  • Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit

  • Coordinate interviews and assist with scheduling candidates and hiring managers

  • Update and maintain candidate records in our applicant tracking system (ATS)

  • Support the recruitment team with administrative tasks, such as drafting job descriptions, posting job openings, and organizing recruitment events

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or any related field

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with candidates and team members

  • Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative in sourcing and engaging with potential candidates

  • Basic understanding of human resources principles and talent acquisition processes is preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

  • Availability to commit to a minimum of 10-15 hours per week for the duration of the internship
