The AI at Indeed team empowers Indeedians to easily and effectively wield AI to help people get jobs. We collaborate with Indeed teams to create and implement AI tools that save time, boost revenue, and enhance satisfaction. You’ll focus on creating AI experiences that are responsible, empowering, and make work better. In the near term, our primary focus is on generative AI applications.
Who you are
Build internal platforms for scalable generative AI, such as centralized AI-powered assistants or semantic search across Indeed data sources.
Provide architectural guidance, advisory support, and hands-on contributions to partner teams starting AI implementations
Evaluate and experiment with new models, validate investment in innovation and new technologies, and explore opportunities to optimize cost-performance trade-offs for internal applications;
Mentor software engineers and data scientists, enhancing expertise in effectively leveraging and deploying LLMs across business systems.
Deepen your personal expertise via conference attendance and research contributions.
Who we are
BACHELOR: Computer Science, BACHELOR: Mathematics, BACHELOR: Statistics
7+ years of industry experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer (or 5+ with a PhD or MS);
Prior success deploying (impactful) Machine Learning solutions to large-scale production systems;
Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms;
Excellent sense of ownership as a technical and product leader;
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal for technical and business audiences.

Salary Range Disclaimer
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), a Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

US Remote 198,000 - 288,000 USD per year
