Description
Job Title:Precision surface Grinder
Shift:1st and 2nd
GWS Tool Group is a rapidly growing, energetic company that is committed to investing in the organization and it’s employees. The Precision Surface Grinder will work with various manual machines to produce premium quality, high precision carbide cutting tools. They will also verify accuracy by using engineering prints, component drawings, assembly drawings, and engineering specifications.
Opportunity Details:
As a Precision Surface Grinder, you are responsible for:
The setup and adjustments as required.
Studying blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances for the finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
Verifying conformance of finished workpiece to specifications.
Selecting, aligning, and securing holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and material on machines.
Calculating and setting controls to regulate machining factors and speed, feed, depth, and angle cut.
Checking machinery daily to ensure functionality.
