Purpose and Scope:
As a Platform Engineer of a team of individuals in a specific area of digital expertise, you will be a crucial player in driving our digital initiatives forward in our agile organization. Our agile operating model consists of two components – Digital Capability and Digital Execution. Digital Execution is about aligning multiple missions around business goals and facilitating collaboration on a larger scale. Digital Capability, on the other hand, will focus on the growth and development of individuals within a specific are of expertise. This dual structure enables us to scale agile practices efficiently while maintaining a focus on both product development and individual skill enhancement.
An Enterprise Business Platforms Engineer focuses on the development, deployment, and integration of software platforms that support our business processes and operations. This role involves a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and a deep understanding of the specific platforms that drive business functions such as CRM (Customer Relationship Management, Sales Force, VeeVa), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning such as SAP), and SCM (Supply Chain Management) and Clinical, Patient Safety, Quality Management Solutions. The goal is to ensure these platforms are optimized to support business goals, enhance efficiency, and drive growth.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
Platform Development and Configuration: Design, develop, and configure business platforms to meet the specific needs of our organization. This could involve programming, configuring settings, and integrating various software solutions.
System Integration: Ensure seamless integration between different business platforms and systems (e.g., integrating CRM and ERP systems) to enhance data flow and business processes.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Regularly monitor the performance of business platforms, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and user experience.
User Support and Training: Provide technical support to platform users, resolve issues, and conduct training sessions to ensure users can effectively utilize the platforms.
Initiative Execution: Actively participate in and contribute to various initiatives, applying your specialized skills to achieve the objectives and expected Value. Contribute to the ongoing realization of Value from these enterprise platforms through continuous integration and deployment.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members within the subdivision and across other digital and business units.
Continuous Learning: Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in a specific area of expertise.
Innovation: Contribute innovative ideas and approaches to enhance project outcomes and digital capabilities.

Developer is responsible for the gathering of SAP requirements and specifications, analyzing, designing, documenting, coding, testing, configuring, deploying, implementing, and maintaining systems and applications
Participate and collaborate with the users, business analyst, quality assurance/quality control analyst in the gathering of user requirements and specifications
Participate and conduct feasibility study, research and development, prototyping and proof of concept (PoC) in implementing new/existing systems, solutions and processes
Participate in the technical and project documentation such as but not limited to functional, system and technical design, requirements and specifications
Create test scenarios and data and conduct or participate in non-functional and functional testing (e.g., unit testing, system testing, integration testing, etc.)
Document, analyze and report test results
Develop and review codes, programs and configurations to verify consistency and conformance with established programming and industry standards, guidelines, policies and practices
Conduct incident and problem analysis, data gathering, investigation and resolution of issues, and provide technical consultancy, assistance and support
Deliver the required systems/applications/solutions on time and based on agreed budget and specifications
Identify, assess and recommend opportunities for application and process improvement
Provide regular and effective progress updates to the project manager/team lead/supervisor/immediate manage
Develop, customize, enhance, fix and maintain codes, applications and systems
Qualifications:
Required
Bachelors or Masters Degree in computer science, engineering or information systems, or STEM Degree
Demonstrated ability to Analyze technical and business requirements and translate these into basic and detailed technical design
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Strategic thinking and thought leadership capabilities; ability to institutionalize new tools, processes, and technologies
Knowledge of implementation project life cycles including blueprinting, configuration, testing, cut-over and go-live support
At least 2 SAP end-to-end implementation experience and at least 1 S/4HANA Implementation / upgrade experience
Ability to adapt to fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks at a time and self-motivated to learn advanced technologies
Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Design and develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using SAP UI5 framework
6-8 Years web application development experience with a strong SAP background
5 years of hands-on experience in SAP UI5 development with a strong focus on UX/UI design principles on S/4 HANA
Solid background in Modern JavaScript development practices and frameworks
Experience working with the languages (e.g., SAPUI5, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, jQuery)
Experience working with SAP Fiori design guidelines and principles
Strong understanding of MVC architecture and OData services
Proven experience in Fiori UI5, SAP Business Technology Platform experience including Fiori Design patterns, expertise in UI Theme designer; Fiori Launchpad configuration Fiori Application development tool (eg: BAS); and proficient with OData concepts such as debugging OData service & extending services
Experience using Fiori Elements OData Annotation Framework, Build CDS views / ABAP code for backend architecture in S/4 HANA
2-3 years’ experience in SAP ABAP development experience
Expertise in enhancing standard SAP functionality leveraging standard enhancements framework - User exists, Business Transaction Events (BTE), Business Add Ins (BADI), Enhancement Spots (Implicit & Explicit)
Experience developing mobile applications using SAP Mobile Platform (SMP), SAP Cloud Platform Mobile Services, or other mobile app development platforms
Design and implement data analytics solutions using SAP Fiori and SAC Participate in scrum ceremonies
Analyze complex data sets and create interactive visualizations using SAC
Analyze requirements and develop customized solutions leveraging Fiori and SAC
Experience with HANA objects like CDS views, CE functions and SQL scripts using Eclipse
Experience with SAP Web IDE / BAS
Experience in Design and development in responsive UI5 Application for Desktop and mobile devices using sap.ui.commons and sap.m libraries. HANA XSODATA implementation. SAPUI5 development on SAP Cloud platform
Experience in UI5 application development with custom CSS. Consumed OData/JSON models Designed front - end using AJAX, CSS3, SAPUI5 and JavaScript and XML views.
Experience in Fiori Launchpad configuration in Gateway server. Fiori Launchpad integration in SAP Portal for UI5 applications. SAP UI prototype design using Splash/Build and Migrated WDJ applications to UI5.
Expertise in UI application in local server and debug it in IE/Chrome using debuggers
