Payroll Coordinator responsibilities include inputting new hires, terms, and employee changes into Workday as well as SAP systems. The coordinator will also process bi-weekly payroll for exempt as well as non-exempt employees, monitor PTO (paid time off) for exempt employees, enter and respond to withholding orders, run weekly as well as bi-weekly reports associated with the processing of payroll, process employment verifications, and provide top notch customer service by responding to employee and management inquiries..

Job Requirements:

• 1-2 years’ of payroll experience is desired

• Must have basic HRIS knowledge

• Enter and ensure accuracy of all data including withholding orders, garnishments and tax levy’s

• Ensure the effective, efficient, accurate and timely processing of payroll and related reporting

• Provides a high level of customer service and ensures that there is proper understanding of inquiries as well as accurate, consistent and timely responses being provided to the employees

• Ensure integrity of all records, documentation and files

• Ability to effectively communicate with various departments to ensure sharing of best practices and coordination on problem resolution

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Workday and SAP products will be beneficial

• A 4-year degree or accounting coursework

• Prior experience in a construction or industrial environment
