New York University Part Time Lecturer - Foundations of Finance in United States
NYU Tel Aviv is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach a course on Foundations of Finance, under the sponsorship of the Finance Department in the Stern School of Business of New York University. The course would be taught in the Spring 2025 semester (Jan. 20 - Apr. 29, 2025).
The course is a quantitative introduction to financial market structure and financial asset valuation. The main topics of the course are time value of money, portfolio selection, equilibrium asset pricing (CAPM), equity pricing, arbitrage pricing, fixed income securities, and derivatives. Qualified candidates should hold a PhD in business, finance, economics or related field and have a strong record of research as well as experience teaching. Candidates who have experience in teaching within an American university system to a diverse English speaking undergraduate student body are strongly encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to those who have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience teaching at the university level in English. Applicants are required to have a legal right to work in Israel.
