    we are looking for you as a(n)Marketing Manager - AUTO.

    The Marketing Manager – Automotive is responsible for ensuring the growth and profitability of the Automotive segment of the Silicone Elastomers business. This includes developing and implementing a marketing strategy to identify trends & unmet needs and aligns them with current and future product and service offerings.

    Position Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a Market Development Plan (marketing strategy). The Plan will include short, medium, and long term objectives for the segment. Product development and research needs should be identified to align with market needs. Identifying opportunities for growth within the segment is a key deliverable for the role. Traditional marketing deliverables are also expected (competitive analysis, marcom plan, trade show participation, etc.). The Marketing Manager is accountable for the P&L of the segment.

  • Manages operational activities on an ongoing basis. This includes pricing & profitability management, developing annual budget and forecasts, opportunity pipeline management, and coordination of segment activities with our sales and technical teams.

  • Visit key customers and OEM’s in order to understand the market segment, as well as promote new materials for key applications as needed. Drive product and business development projects with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Act as a scout for new market segments for silicone elastomers. This could involve an emerging market or new application development for silicones within an existing market.

    Position Qualifications

  • 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, technical discipline, or related field

  • 5 years experience working in the automotive industry in a strategy, marketing, or related field is required.

  • Experience working with OEM’s and major tier one’s is expected.

  • Candidate must demonstrate the ability to interview customers, identify market trends and assess markets, and develop a effective marketing strategy.

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration is necessary to be effective in our team environment.

  • Strategic analysis and thinking

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to influence others within the organization

  • Solid computer and data analysis skills; SAP & SalesForce experience is preferred

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently while working in the larger team.
