Defense Contract Audit Agency MANAGEMENT ANALYST in United States

Summary Reemployed annuitant: This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants. Responsibilities Manage programs including records management, documents and files using LiveLink, the automated DCAA Management Information System (DMIS) and Cognos data applications. Provides support to the field audit office (FAO) Manager and FAO staff for the analysis, review, and management oversight of internal operational processes, office procedures, administrative and personnel services for the FAO. Develops, reviews, and updates a variety of FAO standard operating procedures (SOPs) to address FAO's evolving requirements and ensure FAO processes and practices adhere to region and/or Agency objectives and policies. Gathers or extracts and prepares detailed data analysis of performance or manpower data from various reporting systems. Ensures that contract audit follow-up actions are analyzed, monitored, and addressed with contractors, commands and the region on a periodic basis providing written responses to region POCs. Provide records management with responsibility for official files and file retention in compliance with DoD, Federal government, and agency regulations and policies. Serves as FAO liaison for receiving, monitoring and tracking contractor's voluntary disclosures. Assists FAO management in determining, coordinating, and monitoring office environment matters with the appropriate personnel and organizations. Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-07 or equivalent level. Specialized experience must be documented in your resume. Specialized experience is defined as assisting with maintaining an information management program. Examples of specialized experience include: utilizing management information systems to extract and utilize data; understanding and interpreting regulations, guidance, policies, and procedures. Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Education Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education or master's or equivalent graduate degree may be substituted to meet the specialized experience requirement when education is directly related to the position being filled. To be creditable, education must have been obtained from an accredited college or university. Background Investigation: All selectees will be subject to a personnel security investigation which must be favorably adjudicated for occupancy of a sensitive position and/or access to classified information. For a critical sensitive position, you must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance eligibility at the Top Secret level. For a special sensitive position, you must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance eligibility at the Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) level AND you will be subject to a random counterintelligence scope polygraph. Drug Testing: If you are given access to classified information, you will be subject to random drug testing. If you are selected for a special sensitive position, you will be placed in a drug testing designated position. You must pass a drug test before your assignment to such a position and you will be subject to random drug testing subsequent to your assignment. Performance Appraisal: If you are a current Federal employee, you must be rated fully successful or higher on your current performance rating to be eligible for promotion.
