Bob's Discount Furniture Maintenance in United States
The Maintenance Utility is responsible for general building maintenance. This role will maintain a clean and safe work area, operate equipment in a safe manner, and report any and all unsafe conditions. This role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Job Responsibilities
General building maintenance
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Lawn care/snow removal
Light carpentry/painting
Operate equipment in a safe manner
Report any and all unsafe conditions
Other duties as assigned
Decision Making Responsibilities:
Under direct supervision of the Property Manager/Maintenance Supervisor, work is performed within standard policies and procedures with little opportunity for un-reviewed decision-making
Financial Responsibilities:
This position does not have any direct financial responsibilities
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities. May provide routing information and support to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a Warehouse atmosphere
General building maintenance skills
Ability to efficiently utilize general hand tools, saws, drills, etc
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Able to multitask and manage competing priorities
Able to work flexible hours determined by the needs of the department including weekends and evenings
