Job Description:
H&E Rentals is hiring a LMS Administrator to work at our corporate office. The LMS Administrator is primarily responsible for tailoring the LMS to align with the organization and project’s objectives. This involves setting up eLearning, crafting learning paths, and managing user permissions. They collaborate with internal clients to pinpoint areas of improvement and suggest modifications to optimize the system.
Key Responsibilities:
System configuration : Configuring the LMS to meet the organization's needs, including branding and user interface tweaks
Content management : Overseeing the creation, uploading, and organization of learning materials
User management : Managing user accounts, roles, and permissions, including onboarding and offboarding new users
Technical troubleshooting : Diagnosing and resolving technical issues that learners may encounter
Reporting and analytics : Tracking learner activity and generating reports to evaluate training programs and identify areas for improvement
Communication : Creating and providing communications, and dealing with any queries
Training : Creating training courses for employees
Process improvement : Identifying opportunities for process and quality improvements
System security : Maintaining procedures to ensure the security and integrity of systems
Collaboration : Working with instructional designers and subject matter experts
System updates : Working with LMS providers to stay up-to-date on system specifications and updates
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Learning & Development, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in related field.
Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing training programs and learning materials.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to assess training needs, analyze data, and make informed recommendations.
Knowledge of adult learning theories, instructional design models, and e-learning development tools.
Mastery in learning management systems (LMS) and content authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, etc.).
Preferred Skills:
Exceptional computer and software skills
Knowledge of multiple web design technologies such as HTML and Javascript
Familiar with course design and development
Strong data entry skills
Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in managing data electronically
Knowledge of basic project management principles
Knowledge of learning principles and instructional design processes
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly
Strong communication skills
Strong technical skills
Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
Strong attention-to-detail
