POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Data Visualization Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in implementing and managing tags using GTM, as well as visualizing data using industry-standard tools such as Google Analytics. This role requires a keen analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective data tracking and visualization strategies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements for data tracking and analysis.

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust tag management solutions using Google Tag Manager.

  • Define and implement tagging strategy in Google Tag Manager for data collection in both Universal Analytics and GA4 that meets business goals/objectives.

  • Solve minor JS errors for the Analytics or GTM Tags, including Data Layer implementation in coordination with the Developer.

  • Develop and manage data layer implementations to capture relevant user interactions and events on web properties.

  • Configure Google Analytics to collect, analyze, and report on key performance metrics.

  • Create custom reports and dashboards in data visualization tools (e.g., Google Data Studio) to communicate insights effectively.

  • Monitor data integrity and troubleshoot tracking issues to ensure accurate and reliable data collection.

· Work with the client technical team to fix the tracking issues.

Design and develop proof of concepts (PoC) as per the business / development team requirements.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in tag management, web analytics, and data visualization.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field.

  • Proven experience of 5+ years working with Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Google Sheets, Google Tag Manager, and implementing reporting capabilities.

  • Google Tag Manager installation and configuration (AMP, Non-AMP implementation + Data Layer Implementation).

  • Experience in managing Google Tags (GTM) for web properties by overseeing implementation, coding, testing, and conducting ongoing maintenance.

  • Understand the connection of GCP with GA 360 and its working.

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Power BI.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Analytics Individual Qualification) are a plus
