THE ROLE : The Internal Controls Analyst will support the Americas Region and Shared Services in performing and maintaining a strong internal control environment to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and safeguarding of company assets.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Perform user access activities to ensure that appropriate Segregation of Duties are maintained.

  • Organize and perform user access reviews (UARs) for the Americas and Shared Services systems and other systems as necessary.

  • Executing Sarbanes Oxley internal controls as needed (i.e. Outside Service Provider assessments)

  • Performing Sarbanes Oxley testing of key controls for the Americas and Shared Services

  • Perform other audits as necessary (i.e. customer, banking, vendor special audits)

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. CPA or CIA certification a plus.

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience

  • Previous Auditing and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance experience

  • Previous experience in documenting SOX controls (Control Matrix, Narratives & IPE)

  • Must have strong knowledge of United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements

  • Requires demonstrated skill in written and oral communications

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized, articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must have demonstrated the ability to engage business process owners in a direct yet professional manner, thoroughly evaluate business processes

  • Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated

  • Mix of public accounting and publicly traded company experience

  • Prior user access and segregation of duties review experience

  • Experience with Workiva and TeamGuru
