Position Details:
Facility: BayCare Health System, Private Duty
Location: Pinellas County
Status: Full Time, hourly
Shift Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM - NIGHTS
Weekend Work: Every 3rd weekend
On Call: No

Home Health Aide key responsibilities:
As part of the patient care team, works under the guidance and supervision of the staff nurse in providing personal care to the patients
Follows the patient's plan of care for completion of tasks assigned to a home health aide by the registered nurse or other appropriate skilled professional
Maintains an open communication process with the patient, representative (if any), caregivers, and family
Demonstrates competency with assigned tasks
Complies with infection prevention and control policies and procedures
Reports changes in the patient's condition
Honors patient rights
Education includes one of the following:
Home Health Aide with 75 hours of training (HHA)
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Additional requirements:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
Florida driver's license is required within 30 days of hire
1 year Home Care experience preferred
High School or equivalent preferred
