Job Description
2 Vacant Positions
Under general supervision, the Graduate Student Hourly Assistant will assist the Center for Information Technology Excellence (CITE).
Responsibilities:
Attend Project Meetings.
Perform Business Analysis For Projects.
Participate in Process Engineering Tasks.
Track the Progress of Implementations.
Provide Student-focused inputs relative to transformation projects.
Provide Weekly Progress Summary.
Other duties as required.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in an applicable field.
Must be enrolled as a full-time graduate student at Prairie View A&M University. (Minimum of 9 credit hours during the regular fall and spring semesters and 6 semester credit hours for the summer semester).
Must be in good academic standing.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Must have excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to multitask; work independently (with supervision), and work cooperatively with others.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Maintain attention to detail, timely submission of deliverables, and utilize sound judgment.
