Performs limited electronic, electromechanical, mechanical and support production assembly and functions of a repetitive nature to build and assemble routine units.
Job Duties:
Handle small, delicate parts with a high degree of accuracy to perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly.
Follow method sheets to ensure documented and controlled processes are followed to assemble various electronic components.
Perform a variety of electro-mechanical assembly operations by using common hand tools such as: Wire strippers, wrenches, screwdrivers, plyers and using small hand tools and soldering equipment.
May operate automatic and semi-automatic assembly/production equipment.
Notifies group leader or supervisor of quality or other issues.
May need to complete other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Must have good hand eye coordination while using a microscope.
Must be able to sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods of time and complete tasks using a microscope.
The ability to follow both verbal and written instructions along with strong communication skills.
Capability to use a computer and enter accurate data. Microsoft Office experience is a plus.
Being flexible to changing needs of the business and department and will work overtime as needed.
Good manual dexterity
Organized, work independently with minimum supervision and ability to work in fast paced environments.
Able to sit and work under a microscope for extended periods of time.
