As a Functional Tester, you will play a critical role in testing new site content, functionality, fixes and small enhancements. Responsibilities
Test various features and content updates of WTH’s owned and partner branded websites to ensure they meet requirements of functional specifications
Collaborate with QA analyst on team to write, execute, and maintain test cases and test plans
Identify, report, and track defects or change requests using bug tracking software
Collaborate with web developers to test, collision check, and deploy updates and bug fixes
Ensure clean releases by regression testing existing functionality and design
Work with marketing and other teams to ensure all the necessary specifications are included in any new requests
Create/update change request tickets in the bug tracking queue with requested specifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science related field or 2+ years of experience in manual testing
Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
Experience with testing web-based applications on a responsive platform
Experience with using a content management system
Hands-on experience with cloud-based testing tools, such as BrowserStack
Experience using Google Dev Tools for debugging
Ability to maintain focus while conducting repeated tests of all angles of issues
Demonstrated testing skills in a QA environment and Bugzilla (or other ticketing systems)
Knowledge of website usability and WCAG accessibility
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
