Are you looking for a new challenge? For our locationSan Diegowe are looking for a(n)Facilities Technician II.
Wacker Biotech is seeking a team orientated Facilities Technician II, capable of performing preventative maintenance requirements within a cGMP environment. This person shall have the ability to work individually and within a team. They must have good written skills and experience with documentation requirements of a cGMP corporation, including processing Change Controls, Deviations, Quality Investigations as well as read, understand and develop SOP's.
Wacker is a safety-first culture, the Facilities Technician II will be responsible in maintaining a safe work environment, following all safety rules and wearing appropriate PPE when needed. Identifying any potential safety issues and reporting such issues and assist in rectifying, if applicable
This position requires availability for on-call duties. Able to work after hours on call as needed, weekend shift support and shutdowns.
Essential Functions of this Position
Performing and documenting all PM's and Work Orders on a timely basis
Experience with cGMP documentation systems, i.e.; Veeva, Master Control
Efficiency in reading, writing and understanding SOP's; Support and maintain accurate cGMP compliant records for all equipment and systems and maintain accurate facilities service records
Ability to read and understand blue prints, equipment manuals
Proficiency operating Building Management Systems
Interface with customers as necessary and assist in resolving facilities related work requests.
Execution of facilities related projects as directed.
Positions Qualifications
Minimum High School diploma or GED equivalent
3-5 years experience in a Biotech GMP environment
Critical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Technical and operational experience with steam systems and steam boilers
Technical and operational experience with autoclaves, ovens, CIP systems
Technical and operational experience with water systems, including; DI, WFI and RODI
Technical and operational experience with chillers, HVAC Units and exhaust Fans
Technical and operational experience with emergency generators
Technical writing skills
Preferred:
Technical certificates desired, HVAC, Electrical, Refrigeration
Card access and security systems technical and operational familiarity
The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in San Diego is $25.00 - $35.00 per hour. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc . Wacker is a multi state employer and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
