Singapore American School Eagle Activities & Athletics Assistant (Elementary School After-School Activities) in United States
Overview:
The Eagle Activities and Athletics (EAA) team seeks an enthusiastic candidate to join our dynamic team providing after-school activities and athletics opportunities to elementary school children at SAS. Our team seeks a motivated individual who is organized, has a positive mindset and possesses a can-do attitude.
The EAA Elementary School Assistant is responsible for providing support to the Elementary Eagle Activities and Athletics Coordinator and after-school staff. It is expected that the EAA Assistant will manage activities' registration, and basic accounts such as payments and reimbursements. Additionally, the EAA Assistant should monitor and manage the online registration system as well as check-in and out students after school. It is also important to mention that the EAA Assistant is forward-facing and expected to meet and greet parents, teachers, students, and outside visitors.
Responsibilities:
Assist with student registration for activities and buses (K-2), issuance of receipts as requested, and confirmation of program placement
Assist in coordination and logistical support of program activities
Assist in implementing and maintaining online registration system (SchoolsBuddy)
Assist with replying to general parent enquiries through the eaainfo@sas.edu.sg email
Facilities booking
EAA Accounts – issuing receipts as requested, track of all online pending payments, assisting with reimbursements, issuing payment vouchers, tracking payment vouchers as requested
Interact with other school offices as needed to support programs
Compile student databases and maintain class lists for programs and bus riders (K-2) online
Respond to inquiries about programs from parents, teachers, and or students
Coordination of EAA Instructional Assistants’ duties and submitting timesheets to HR
Assist with ordering and maintaining supplies for the office and for faculty as requested
Assist with cafeteria and transportation supervision
Support all daily operations as necessary (absences, emergencies)
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GCE ‘A’ Level equivalent
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal relations skills
Positive Attitude and Flexible nature
Strong Computer Skills (must have experience with Google Suite and applications )
Advantageous:
Experience with SchoolsBuddy
Multi-tasked ability and flexibility to assume last-minute assignments
Related experience and or knowledge of an American Education system (calendar, overall curriculum, and activities)
Good problem-solving skills
Friendly and outgoing personality
