The Department of Labor (DOL) National Contact Center (NCC) directly supports all of DOL’s strategic goals by providing American public customers across the nation with timely, accurate and understandable information for a wide range of Departmental programs and services. To accomplish this, the DOL-NCC interacts with customers through the communication vehicle of their choice including telephones, self-service on the web, texting, email, U.S. mail and chat. The DOL-NCC supports public communications by providing live customer service support for telephone, voicemail, texting, faxing, chat, U.S. mail, and email communication methods.

What is the position?

The Junior (Jr.) Reports Analyst is responsible for providing support in assisting clients with the development of business systems related to automated contact center solutions. The Jr. Reports Analyst performs analysis of functional and technical requirements, prepare system designs and specifications, performs systems development. Collects, documents, and analyzes information concerning clients' current business processes and information systems. The Jr. Reports Analyst also develops required systems and operation documentation.

What qualifications do I need?

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent

  • A minimum of two years of experience with Python

  • Proficiency in using SQL

  • Experience with extracting and transforming data through APIs

  • Ability to build, modify, and maintain hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly reporting

  • Ability to prepare reports for both internal and external stakeholders

  • Knowledge and advanced experience with both Power BI and Microsoft Excel (formulas, Pivot Tables, and VBA)

  • Effective communication skills to support the creation, implementation, and maintenance of reporting both internal and external

  • Ability to follow protocol and to apply sensitivity and discretion in handling confidential information

What additional characteristics will help me thrive?

  • Proficient in the use of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint is desired, but not required

  • Experience with a data warehouse (Snowflake) is desired, but not required

  • Experience in call center analytics is strongly preferred

  • Experience utilizing call center software (Genesys and Salesforce) is desired, but not required

Compensation

$58,045.66 - $96,935.81

The pay range for this job is determined by various factors, including but not necessarily limited to location, responsibilities of the job, and alignment with market data. When determining a salary for this role, the following factors may be taken into consideration - contract-specific affordability, education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience. The estimate displayed represents the salary range for this position and is just one component of Cognosante’s total compensation package for employees. It is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific employee.
