AAA Mid Atlantic Dispatcher I (2nd Shift) in United States

Work Schedule currently available: Full-time, 2nd Shift (8% shift differential). One weekend shift required (i.e. Saturday or Sunday) each week. All shifts starting after 2:00 p.m. EST. Choice of schedules.

Training requirement: (TBD) Monday - Friday (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST) for the first 3-5 weeks. Work schedule will begin after training is completed. Paid Training. All computer equipment provided by AAA Club Alliance. All hours listed are in Eastern Standard Time.

The Dispatch Center is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Do you have what it takes?

  • This is a work from home position, candidates must live within our territory (·Connecticut ·Delaware ·Indiana ·Kansas ·Kentucky ·Maryland ·New Jersey ·Ohio ·Oklahoma ·Pennsylvania ·South Dakota ·Virginia ·Washington, DC ·West Virginia)

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of external Dispatching/Customer Service experience.

  • 1-2 years of Dispatching experience in a Call Center Environment.

  • Salesforce experience (preferred)

  • Reliable internet connection (no Wi-Fi or Satellite internet) must be able to hardwire into the router.

  • Ability to work overtime as needed and holidays as scheduled.

Dispatch Operations, Driver Support, Member Update, and Dispatch Case Worker Associates provide help in a contact center environment contacting service providers to assist AAA Members who are in need of roadside assistance, respond to inquiries from AAA Members and service providers about the benefits of the AAA Membership products and resolve concerns in a timely manner.

Dispatchers also:

  • Answer inbound calls from members seeking updates for their AAA Roadside

  • Communicate to service providers information needed to provide timely assistance to AAA Members

  • Prioritize service requests based on various criteria.

  • Monitors the progression of roadside assistance requests and ensures documentation is thorough and accurate.

  • Participates in the resolution of service issues and member complaints.

  • Update members on progress.
