Job Description:

About the role:

As Norstella’s Director of Real World Data (RWD) Product Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Norstella’s real-world data product portfolio. Working with a broad set of cross-functional stakeholders, you will be a key enabler in visioning, scoping and prioritizing RWD capabilities across our product roadmaps. You will also serve as a key thought leader through your understanding the challenges and benefits of real world data, along with the articulation use cases, market landscape and capability requirements to maximize its value.

Success will be measured by the maturation of our RWD product pipeline, new product delivery and overall advancement of RWD capabilities across the Norstella product platform.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive RWD product strategy that aligns with and supports the product roadmaps across Norstella’s business units.

  • Create and manage cross-BU RWD product roadmaps, outlining capabilities, timelines, and dependencies.

  • Drive the execution of RWD platform initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to further integrate RWD capabilities seamlessly into the product platform.

  • Foster a collaborative environment to facilitate knowledge exchange and innovation. Serve as a critical subject matter expert relating to RWD including claims data, lab data, contracting and incentive compensation, data science principles as well as product integration.

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of cross-BU RWD initiatives.

  • Monitor the product pipeline maturity and organizational understanding of RWD capabilities, driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in product management, with at least 4 focused on real world data product development.

  • Strong technical background and understanding of RWD, data science, and their applications in product development.

  • Clinical expertise (healthcare informatics, epidemiology, clinical trials etc.)

  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Possesses a highly analytical and data driven decision making approach

  • Very capable and comfortable swiveling between influence business stakeholders and highly technical stakeholders

  • Highly resourceful. Can influence across a broad set of stakeholders. With a strong fact-based approach that facilitates prioritization and decision making

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Product Management, Clinical, Life Sciences and/or related discipline. Suitable and substantiated real-world experience may also be considered for highly qualified candidates.

Travel : < 30%

Location : US-based hybrid – willing to occasionally travel as needed to various Norstella offices and/or client meetings. Highly preferred if candidates reside in northeastern US region.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $180,000 to $220,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
