The Information and Cyber Security team at Jack Henry is looking for a Director of Identity and Access Management (IAM) to join our mission-critical team. This position will lead the development and implementation of identity and access management strategies across the organization. This role involves oversight of policies, systems, and teams that ensure the right individuals have access to the right resources at the right times for the right reasons. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), the Director of IAM plays a critical role in our organization's overall security posture and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will be a leader with expert knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of information security as it applies to and impacts the organization. This is a fast-paced, critical role that requires the ability to adhere to the best practices, internal standards and procedures while working under demanding deadlines.

This position can be based to work out of any Jack Henry office or remote from any US location. Travel up to 15% for team meetings, training, or onsite implementations will be required.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive identity and access management strategy aligned withbusiness objectives and security requirements.

  • Lead the IAM team, providing direction and oversight for identity governance, administration, access management, and directory services.

  • Ensure the enforcement of robust access controls and identity management processes across all systems and platforms to minimize risk and protect sensitive information.

  • Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to understand access needs, regulatory requirements, and security challenges.

  • Drive the adoption of modern IAM technologies, including multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, identity federation, and privileged access management.

  • Oversee the evaluation, selection, and implementation of IAM tools and technologies.

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness of IAM programs and initiatives.

  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts related to IAM solutions and services.

  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in IAM, cybersecurity, and related regulations to ensure our strategies and technologies remain current and effective.

  • Lead incident response efforts related to identity and access breaches, including investigation, mitigation, and recovery.

  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to have:

  • Minimum of 12 years experience within Information and Cyber Security or IT.

  • Extensive Leadership experience required.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing IAM strategies in a complex, multi-platform technology environment.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR, CCPA).

  • Expertise in IAM technologies and platforms (e.g., Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint).

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

  • Large scale enterprise transformation experience a bonus.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
